New Zealand vs Australia Live

The second round of the Rugby Championship as New Zealand take on Australia at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.Prop Owen Franks has been ruled out of the clash with Australia just hours after being named to start the game in Dunedin. Nepo Laulala will come into the starting side alongside hooker Dane Coles, who is making his return to the All Blacks side after battling injury for much of the year.

Jeffrey Toomaga-Allen, who played one Test off the bench in 2013, has been brought into the squad as cover. The 30-year-old Coles has not played a Test match since last November. He missed last week’s 54-34 victory over the Wallabies in Sydney after sustaining another head knock in a warm-up game.

He had played just 90 minutes for the Wellington Hurricanes in Super Rugby since mid-March after sustaining knee and calf injuries then suffering concussion symptoms.Centre Samu Kerevi has paid the price for a poor performance in the Rugby Championship opener against New Zealand by being dropped for the return match in Dunedin.

Coach Michael Cheika has resisted the urge to overhaul his team despite the 54-34 hammering in Sydney last Saturday.Kerevi makes way for Tevita Kuridrani at outside centre. Dane Haylett-Petty returns on the wing after recovering from a bicep injury to replace Curtis Rona, who scored a try on debut last week as the Wallabies ran in four unanswered tries in an improved second-half performance.

Abrasive lock Adam Coleman has aggravated his shoulder in training and Rory Arnold moves from the bench to partner Rob Simmons in the starting line-up.The 21-year-old Izack Rodda, who stands 2.02 metres tall and weighs in at 119 kg, has been brought into the replacements.
